Today, Kel and I leave London for Edinburgh, Scotland, so we have an early start to meet a car service outside the hotel at 8 a.m. I found time to take a picture of the London Eye at dawn from the hotel room.

Next stop was Kings Cross Station.
We could’ve taken the Underground, but navigating with large rolling suitcases during rush hours would’ve been a huge hassle. We arrived early enough to switch tickets for an earlier Lner train.
We sat with a couple of IT guys. I talked programming with them for a while. I also edited a chapter of my latest work-in-progress, a mystery, and read more of Project Hail Mary.
Once we arrived, he took a bus to the hotel, checked-in, and had lunch. After we walked around Edinburgh. We checked out the tour company. We needed to be on their doorstep at 7 a.m. tomorrow for our day-long tour to ride a steam engine train along the same route as the Hogwarts Express.
