Fun with Texting

This isn’t a post about the wrong text getting the wrong the person. It’s more about how I managed to botch simple messages.

How to Easily Alienate People (Your Audience)

Since the 2016 Presidential Election, I’ve seen much that I find distasteful in how people are treating others, both on the news and my personal Facebook feed. Whether it’s people on the winning side acting like poor winners, taking a victory lap, or others, acting like poor losers, spewing hate and vitriol at the winners and their supporters.

I’m hearing from multiple people that they’re ignoring Facebook and Twitter, or they’re actively unfriending people because of the hate filling their timelines. I can’t blame them–they’ve been alienated, and they’ve taken a positive action.

During Friday night’s Sci-fi/Fantasy Read and Critique, Mark Gottlieb (Trident Media Group) mentioned that he often finds a work’s title in the manuscript.

#tbt Metal Shop

I made this in Metal Shop in 7th or 8th grade. As I recall, I created the mold in some sort of sand, poured the aluminum, and painted it. GeorgeI’m an author living in northern Virginia with a wife and a cat. In the late ’80s, I worked on the International Space Station project. I … Read more
